Rochdale Heritage Trail
This trail around Rochdale town centre takes in a number of significant and interesting landmarks and delves into the industrial heritage of the town. There’s a lot to see and plenty to learn as well as the chance to visit some of Rochdale's key visitor attractions.
The trail takes in the town's famous Town Hall and square, Broadfield Park, the old 'stocks, St Mary in the Baum and St. Chad's. The route also allows you to visit the Touchstones centre which includes a museum, tourist information centre, local studies centre and heritage gallery. There's also the Pioneers Museum to explore at Toad Lane - original home to Rochdale's Equitable Pioneers.
